Lavenham is one of my favourite places, and the name FAIERS rang a bell, so I have just checked my photos, and found that there was a baker's shop named "Sparling & Faiers" in the Market Place there in early August 2007; it may still be there, although that does not mean that there is still a partner of that name in the business ?
