>From The Bury and Norwich Post, and Suffolk Herald ( Bury Saint Edmunds, England ), Tuesday, October 16, 1866, pg.4; Issue 4399. MARRIED. On the 9th inst., at Haverhill, Mr. Thomas SPICER , of Haverhill, blacksmith, to Ann PANNELL , widow, daughter of Mr. James BERRY , butcher and farmer, Haverhill.
I have found a marriage in Bury of Michael Rockett, bachelor of Deal, Kent and Elizabeth Hester. They married 5 August 1805./ I wondered if the images are available like the Norfolk images on Familysearch as i am trying to find details of my Thomas Rockett who has, until now, been a mystery. I am tracing the above marriage and couple as they may be the answer to my mystery and may even be his parents, but who can tell?! Jan

At that date, the marriage entry will probably only include the witnesses. Father's names and occupations don't appear until about 1837. Previous to 1754, you won't even get witnesses. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg
