I put this enquiry to the Norfolk list recently but realise that parishes near the Norfolk/Suffolk border might also have Tyte bmds relevant to my query. In her will of 1620 at Pulham, Amy Sillett wife of Richard, states her sister Frances married John Tyte. They had many children baptised at Denton 1580 –1605. I can’t find Amy Sillett’s marriage so I don’t know her maiden name and was hoping I could get it from her sister’s marriage but can’t find that either. Frances and Amy might have been Lawsons or Sayers as a best guess, but only that. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has any of the surnames mentioned above in their researches to help me sort out a bit of a mess. Brian Sillett.
