Does anyone have access to the Archdeacons transcripts or PRs etc for *Hawstead Sfk *circa 1594-1650. Looking for BMD info on VESEY family. Have a John Vesey of  Hintlesham ( d.1593/94 in Lindsay) who married Alice CUTLER of Eye circa 1575 in Stanstead. Appears she/widow Alice V may have remarried in Hawstead ( = Jn BULBROOK) in 1594. Totally  stonewalled trying to locate any info her children Elizabeth V b.abt 1576 and Wm V b.abt 1579 after their father's death 1594. Can anyone help ? David Vesey Toronto Canada.

Oh dear - I do have the Hawstead PR fiche but am missing the first one which covers up to 1650 it seems. I’ll check through that to see if any have strayed over later but it’s not very likely I’m afraid. Sorry I can’t help. Hello David The SRO at Bury St Edmunds should be able to supply a copy of the will of carpenter John BULBROOK(E) of Hawstead (Sudbury Archdeaconry: IC/500/1/111/51). It's catalogued in the printed index (with the year 1609 in brackets, denoting when it was made, not necessarily the date of probate) but apparently not yet online.
