Yes she was born Apr 54 during the time her parents were in Barcelona between brothers born in England in Jun 1851,d bef 61 Oct 52 [died in Barcelona in o'seas index ] 56 England apprenticed in 71 census. None of my family seem to have known of the child born in 1856 maybe they were apart so too young to remember Her father d 1861 & I think mother early 60s leaving 2 children, her brother was apprenticed & she was probably in service where my Gt Grandfather was in lodgings, [his parents & siblings had emigrated to Canada in 1858] he was almost 6 yrs older. Because events were between census it is hard to find out what happened - her grandfather also died & step gr mother may have been around but was in Devon in 71 (Devon & Lambeth in 61). Her parent Samuel & Rebecca Green are very difficult to follow. Jo
