Looking for any information on Sir Joseph Walton, who took over Alde House, Shingle Street, after the death of Commander Charles Kerr Hope died in June 1892. Any info will be much appreciated Alec Burwood

Hello Alec, Looked him up on Google, read everything I could ( plus there is a good caracature picture of him ) But unfortunately no mention of Suffolk. he seemed quite a person, and travelled the world, no wonder you would like to find out anything of his taking over the Shingle Street property.
