Hi Chris It was a setting problem I had to add Ancestry as a safe & trusted site. Since then I was still having problems with Internet Explorer with pages not be able to be connected I was forever having to shut the browser down & reopen, so I have changed to Firefox & that solved it Yet if I hadn't tried a different browser would have thought it was my internet so it shows it not always the case Regards Janice -----Original Message----- From: suffolk-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:suffolk-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Chris Gadsby Sent: 15 August 2010 22:47 To: suffolk@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SFK-UK] What was on the Death Certificate Janice, I wonder if the reason you can't see the images you have saved is because you are looking for the wrong type of file or have saved them in a particular format that you can't read on your computer. What website have you saved the files from? and also do you know what type of file they are? e.g. jpeg or jpg after the name. A couple of things you could try: Go to the SEARCH facility - depends on what you are using - ( XP Vista etc ) but usually down on the bottom left of the screen. Type in the name of one of the files and if it finds something you should be able to open it or open the location of the file. If you tell me a bit more info about your computer I may be able to give you more help - no promises of success though!! Best wishes, Chris
