I have had a small break through and now can confirm that my POTTER Family were Non Conformists. I have found the baptism of my greatgrand mother in the Unitarian /Presbyterian records for Framlingham. Unfortunately these records are only for 1821 to 1837 and to get the details on her father I need records which date back to 1800 to 1815. Does anyone know if these earlier records exsist and if so were they might be found. Her father was WILLIAM POTTER and  he was born 1813/1814 in Framlingham. It is possible that his father was the WILLIAM POTTER born 1790 in Winston but who lived all his life in Framlingham as he too is baptising his children in the Unitarian Church. Unfortunately my WILLIAM was born just before the  available records start.  Anyone out there able to help. Thank you, Carol
