I'm hoping someone is looking for this family. I have a David Clarke, Born Holbrook about 1815 who married Harriet Rice. They married in Elmswell on 05 Jun 1838 David Clarkes father appears to be Joseph. Harriett's father appears to be William Rice. I can find the baptism of a Harriet Rice in Elmswell,September 26th 1815. As you say her father was William, a labourer, and her mother Harriet. Good luck with David Clarke.
