Bring home for Christmas the family of my 3rd great grandfather William Root born c 1793 Ipswich has been hiding for many years I believe his father could be Edward Root he married Mary Root of Horringer at All Hallows, London Wall and died Oct 1854 in buried at St Martins in the Field. Many tree have muddled him with his brother in law William Root born 1792 in Horringer it's one of my many brickwall i would like knocked down Happy Christmas Judy from NZ

Hi, I have just discovered a marriage between Albert Balaam and Violet Chandler in the Gipping district in 1954. They apparently met while she was in an asylum type place and he worked there. As he was born in the same area, although I don't know the village, I am wondering if there was such an institution around there?? She was there apparently as she had been naughty, I don't know why.
