Hi, This Christmas I would like to bring home James Camel / Cammel / Camell / Campbell, who I believe is my 5xG grandfather. On familysearch I have a marriage for him: 30 Jan 1871, James Campbell = Kezia Barrel in Westharpe, Suffolk (I think the real place name is Westhorpe) FamilySearch England Marriages 1538-1973, Indexing project: M02093-4, Sys Origin: England EAsy, Source film 887393 The couple later appear in Rickinghall, suffolk, where a number of children were baptised. I have found Kezia's family. I would like to learn where James came from as I can find no other Cammell (however spelt) in Westharpe / Westhorpe If some kind soul has access to the original parish registers, perhaps it may say from whence he came? I have found a christening in Thwaite, Suffolk of a James Cammell on 17th March 1758, parents Robert and Mary Cammell. The date is about right, but this may not be him - I would need to prove a link of some kind. Does anyone have any ideas? Happy Christmas from Cappadocia, Turkey, and thanks for any help Colleen
