Thanks, Ros, for your efforts. I have seen this line on Ancestry.com family trees, also. I look at these trees for clues, but I verify anything myself before I accept it. These trees are very often full of errors and/or guesses, and some of the tree entries are merely copied from the trees of others, thus perpetuating any errors. There is at least one error in the reference you quote that I know from my own research of the Diver family. This is why I want to find out if there is any residence given in the Diver/Mast marriage at Gazeley in 1651. It "fits," but that isn't enough. There were several Humphrey Divers in several different generations in Cambs.
