    3. Great Idea David, bringing them home for Christmas I am looking for John Michael Patrick Knox, born 1914, Croydon - son of John Lawrence Knox(died Battle of Cambrai, France 1917) and wife Jennie Louise (Nee Feaver) - cannot seem to find him anywhere - perhaps he was old enough to fight in the war - not sure but he seems to have gone of my radar somewhere along the line. Also a death for Muriel Kate Knox born 1896, parents Mary Jane (nee Williams) and John Knox Merry Christmas to you all, Regards Judy Nelson, NZ

    3. Hi Nivard I didn't think of Jennie remarrying, and you are probably correct that her son might have had a name change, even at the age of 8yrs old - would there be records somewhere for that - I'm a bit lost to where to go for those sort of searches. I only had John MP Knox down as being born 1914, Croydon, his Mother remarrying certainly puts a different aspect on his surname. Thanks for his death details will have to see if he married under the name Thompson or Knox. Many thanks also for Muriel Kate Knox's death - our indexes here are quite a few years behind - have her birth as 1896 (didn't have a birth date just the quarter Sept and year), Streatham, Surrey.
