A terrific idea - and would love to hear from anyone who gets a result. My brickwall is the marriage of Thomas Rous(e) and Hannah about 1750. They had children baptised in Theberton and Westleton and Thomas came from an established Westleton family, at least it looks that way. I know nothing of Hannah (named Anna at the baptism of one of their children and in the will of her husband Thomas) so obviously cannot research her family. Should anyone know where Thomas married Hannah, or be researching the same family I'd love to hear from them Season's Greetings Sue .
My maiden name is HURRELL, having "evolved" from HARROLD when the family were in Whepstead. My brick wall is: John HARROLD (born c.1764, buried 30 Nov 1832 in Lawshall) and Susan ELY (bapt 13 Apr 1766, parents John and Mary, buried 21 Feb 1815 Lawshall) married 27 Apr 1784 in Lawshall. It has been suggested to me that the family may have come from Long Melford. Remembering Jill Orriss, who was so generous in helping me research my Whepstead family. Wishing a peaceful Christmas to all. Jane.
