A Coroner's report on my 3xgreat grandmother's sudden death in Kirton states that she was given half a crown per week by the Parish of Shottisham to which she belonged. She had lived in Kirton for many years and her children were born there therefore I am puzzled at the Shottisham connection. Does this mean that she was born in Shottisham and therefore responsible to the Shottisham parish? If anyone has the Shottisham parish registers I would be very grateful if a Baptism could be found for a Jane Boze, Bowes, Bows, Boyes (or anything remotely similar) in the 1770 -1780 year range.
