My research of the COCK/BUCK family has unearthed a James Mouton COCK aka BUCK born in Wortham in 1808 who was convicted of Shop Breaking and Larceny at Ipswich in 1838 and sentenced to 14 years Transportation. A Record I've found on the Ancestry website shows that he sailed on the LAYTON for Van Dieman's Land 09/07/1839. Where do I go from here? How do I find out where he exactly went and when he died, or any other information about him in Tasmania. Also, there is another record on the Ancestry website, but you've got to be a World Member to look at it which costs a fortune for one record. Anyone able to save it, and send it to me?
