Phil As you have found the parishes of East Hampton and South Hampton do not exist in Suffolk. The nearest I can find is Hampton, Middlesex or the major port of Southampton! You are correct in saying that Suffolk County Bts are the Bishops Transcripts for Suffolk. I see that you are transcribing from fiche and not using the online IGI - do you have the Film No. for the entries as you could then find other entries on the film as normally all the Suffolk entries are on the same film. This may help to discover if the County is correct and would enable you or another researcher to have a look at the film to find adjacent entries which might help to find the correct parish. However searching the film can be a long and arduous task. Brian
