Hello Alec Francis Capper BROOKE's will was proved at Ipswich on 19 July 1886. His personal estate was valued above £91,000. The probate entry is not hard to find in the index of wills and administrations, especially for subscribers to Ancestry, which now provides the National Probate Calendar of England & Wales (1861-1941) at http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=1904. I think you would be able to view the will at the probate registry in Ipswich or London, or order a copy by post from York (see http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/1183.htm and http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/1226.htm). The Will is dated 28th October 1885. Understand it may make reference to land etc in the Orford Haven area, would be interesting to view this, my search so far has drawn a blank.
