Hello Janine, Have you thought that it could be miss-translated as something else? I looked for Anthony LAZZAM in the 1881 Census over 3 solid days to find him as transcribed as Anthony FAZZAM. I just hit Anthony and went from there at the beginning. I used his Christian name as it was slightly unusual. Maybe Frances may help but it will be a long shot and job. Good luck and happy hunting.
