Hi listers, I have a problem that I hope someone can help with. I have a Mary FULCHER who married James Roberts in Jersey in 1851. The marriage entry says she was born in Eyke, Sfk c1831, and her father was David FULCHER. I've subbed to Ancestry but looking for her birth and parentage has perplexed me, to say the least! The only Mary I could find was one born in Wickham Market in 1829, with father David and mother Anne. So, assuming she's the correct one, I searched for more issue, and found Nathaniel and Rachel, b 1823 and 1827, same parents, and another child, Lydia b 1831, but to David and Rachel. OK, assuming David had multiple marriages, I searched for his first marriege to Anne ?, none found, but found 2 David's marrying 2 Rachel HOULT/Rachel HOLT's in 1820 in Worlingtworth! Then found a David marrying an Elizth. LEE in 1832 in Eyke! So by now I've assumed that Rachel and Anne were the same person, so the hunt was on for a Rachel Anne Hoult/Holt or Anne Rachel Hoult/Holt marrying a David FULCHER, but none were found. Any suggestions, advice or help with this dilemma will be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Robyn of Oz.
