Hi Nivard. Thanks once again for you help and suggestions. James and Charles were brothers sons of Thomas and Elizabeth. Therewere a lot of Messenger families living in Marlesford. I am going to send for the birth certificate for William born September 1858 Son of Charles and see what it comes up with.Hopefully no new surprises.
