Hi Jim I'm not able to help with your William but I do have a Mary Girling born abt. 1720 who married Simon Bear abt. 1751. My Bear family and their connections need some work as I have not been able to research it yet myself...so this information has not been proved by me. I have their son John Bear born 1749 in Foxall, married Ann Cooke 1777 in Marlesham. John and Ann died in Kirton. Any connections? Linda B.C. I have been informed he was christened Nov 1,1702 in Fressingfield, Suffolk. I have also been informed that his father was Anthony Girling. I would like to find out his mother's name, date of birth and any other family members that would enable me to research further back into Suffolk of this Girling branch of the family.
