    3. Thank you Dudley for your sound suggestion. I had not thought of that. I have discovered that the Allegations for Marriage Licences issued at Sudbury can be seen on line (at archive.org) in the form of a scan of a manuscript prepared by the Harleian Society. Sadly there does not appear to be any record there in respect of my George/Catherine marriage or licence. Thanks again for your interest.
