Following Ray's unfortunate death there has been a problem with maintaining the Suffolk Surnames webpage (nobody's fault) but there is no reason why you shouldn't put up your query on this board for the time being to be picked up by a looker-up. I suspect almost all the group subscribe to this board.   Pat Bridges is keeping us informed about getting the webpage up and running properly in due time but I, for one, check this board every day.   No need to address your query to individuals, just put it on the board. There's a good chance one of us will see it and if we have the fiche, will do the look-up for you.   J

Her first husband, John Goldson died, I believe this was after 1830 and she had her first child with John Pallant in 1833, in Walsham le Willows, so I'm hoping this is where they married. In another post, someone mentioned not doing blanket look-ups, is it possible to explain what is meant by that, as I'm probably not the only one that doesn't know exactly what that covers. How specific does one need to be with names and dates etc? Any info appreciated. Linda
