Karen, Many thanks for the information. That fills another blank in my database. Mike ----- Original Message ----- Subject: Smith If someone has a copy of the Parish Registers for Yoxford Suffolk could they do a lookup for me please. I am interested in Charles SMITH who was born in Yoxford about 1830 and married Sarah (surname unknown). The their six children were all born in Yoxford (Between 1852 and 1870), so Charles and Sarah likely married their about 1850. I am interested in any information about Charles and Sarah (birth, marriage, parents). I have the registers on fiche and it is Friday night so work for the week is over. I presume that the Charles SMITH is the one aged 10 in the 1841 in the household of John Catchpole. There is no baptism for him - though I did notice a Sarah SMITH having a daughter in either 1828 or 1829. In his marriage 9 April 1852 Charles SMITH B 22 Yoxford labourer married Sarah LOCK 20 spinster labourer also of Yoxford. He had no father her father was Samuel LOCK labourer. He marked she signed witnesses William Whatling and Thomas Rickards. There is a baptism 7 Oct 1832 of a Sarah daughter of Samuel and Letitia LOCK Yoxford labourer. Regards, Karen Stewart
