Just to confirm, the Suffolk Look Up Exchange is to be found at the Suffolk Surnames List website which since the passing of Ray Long, my web partner, has been dormant. I can confirm that the web site will be re-launched very soon and will give more details of this via the list towards the end of next week. The UK Look Ups Exchanges can be found at http://aztecrose.tripod.com/LookupExchange.htm The Surnames List parish records look ups and various resources look ups are still active via the present web site (which is kindly being hosted by Terry Aspinall in Aus). http://www.ssldatabase.plus.com/parish_lookups/parishes_a_b.html If you click on the name of the person able to carry out the look up an email form will appear. PLEASE - note: due to the fact that the version of the website on-line at the moment is a copy of the website when it was last updated, many looks ups are offered by Jill Orriss. As I am sure many of you are aware, Jill passed away last year. This is one of the reasons that I am keen to update the web site, now that I have some more time available. I can only apologise for the apparent lack of interest in maintaining the Surnames List. Over the past few years I had been sole carer of an elderly relative, the last two years in particular left me with little free time. If there are any queries regarding the web site, please contact me directly on patricia@bridgessuffolk.plus.com With best wishes to everyone for a happy, healthy New Year.
