    2. Lyn Boothman
    3. Hi Keith I can cut the search down a bit. There are loads of BLY/BLYES/BLYE/BLYTH/BLYTHE/BLITHE and variants in Melford but no Thomas at that period and no marriage of any Blythe etc to an Elizabeth Harrison either. There are three possible families who are baptising around 1800-20 but Thomas is not a very BLYES etc name in Melford and there are none at all. 2. Jacquie Knott
    3. Further to my previous enquiry, does anyone have access to the Holton St Peter baptisms? I'm looking for David Parr, who would have been born 1838 in Holton. Ancestry lists a baptism on 1st July 1838 as being in 'Suffolk' - I am assuming this is in Holton, but would like to confirm this. Thanks Simon www.norfolkchurches.co.uk www.suffolkchurches.co.uk

    3. hello all it isn't often that my family history interests stray into God's Own County, but my great-great-grandmother's sister Susannah Bowles appears to have been married in the 4th quarter of 1862 in the Blything registration district. Her husband was David Parr, who was from Holton, so the marriage may well have been at Holton. Susannah was from Kent, born in Faversham and in every census living there, so it is presently beyond me why she was in Suffolk in the 1860s, but I shall have fun finding out! We know that the Bowles family were sailors, so it is not impossible that she and David married in a maritime port, possibly Southwold; but I am suggesting Holton as a first guess. 2. Heatha Kitchin
    3. Has anyone on the list got access to the Great Bradley parish records ? If so, would you please be so kind as to look up a marriage for me ? According to the parish records of Dullingham, CAM (banns), Thomas Jaggard married Susanna Packesman, a spinster of Great Bradley. The banns were last called on 11th May 1788 at Dullingham. I hope that they married quite soon after that at Great Bradley. Many thanks, Heatha
