    3. Duane, There are other lines of the Sturm families with the same names. I also have a Johann Jacob born in 1795 in Ostheim, France Aloha, Kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: "duane sasser" <[email protected]> To: "STURM" <[email protected]>; "Storm" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 9:47 PM Subject: [STURM] Fw: Sturm Ancestery > > > > William Palmborg; > > I knew there were Sturm families in Sweden as well as most Northern and > Central European countries. 3. Kathy; I know, for I have found the Sturm name in most of the European countries. Johann and Jacob are very common names and I have found a number of them who either migrated or were born here and from various countries. I was just commenting on the Schifferstadt branch of which William Palmborg is a decendant in Sweden. I did not mean to imply anything other thn his ancestery was progably mine as well. Sorry for any missunderstanding . I am fairly well convienced that the name originated in what is now Germany or Austria but migrated in all directions. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathy Martin-Yeager" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, November 17, 2007 12:04 AM Subject: Re: [STURM] Fw: Sturm Ancestery > Duane, > > There are other lines of the Sturm families with the same names. 3. Duane, No offense. I just thought it is interesting that we both have ancestors in common from all those areas. The ones from Ostheim, Alsace were alternately German and French :-) You know how confusing it can be with families with all the same given names. It is great that you have done so much research.
