Hello All, I'm was wondering if anyone out there knows or has any information on the Birth of a Nation Orchestra. A relative of mine was in it and they toured the nation and I was wondering if anyone could help. I tried a search, but I didn't come up with anything. Suggestions? Kim Pollard

Hello everyone, I am new to this list and thought I would post my STURMEY name for a hopeful connection. I have a Maria Naomi STURMEY born about 1824 in Woolwich, Kent, England Father was Joseph STURMEY a labourer Married John BROWNEN, on April 27 1851 at the parish church in the Parish of Wareham in the County of Dorset, England. Both were age 27. Had five known children. Died March 4, 1903 in Christchurch, Hampshire, England. Anyone have a connection???
