    1. [Sturm/Storm] Any relatives in Ms, Al, Ga, N C, or Ky?
    2. Kim Pollard
    3. Hello fellow listers, I visited my local library and found that it has a large (for the town of 2,500 people) collection of Genealogical reference books that was donated some time ago. Now, I know some might be outdated, but if you would like to have me look for you just give me as much information as you can. Just a taste of what they have includes (this was all they would let me leave with today) Alabama Notes Vol. 1&2 by England ( indexed) Notable men of Alabama personal and genealogical Vol. 1 & 2 (Indexed) by DuBose Mississippi 1820 Census by Gillis ( indexed) Georgia 1850 Census Index by Jackson and Teeples (indexed) Cemetery and Bible records (in Mississippi )Vol. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10. I don't have those with me, but I should have them by tomorrow. And many more. If you know anyone with this area of search please pass this along. I can't guarantee anything but I will try. One request at a time please. Our library is only open from 1-6pm Mon.- Sat. 3. Hi Sue, Sorry to take so long to reply, have been super busy this week. I have many STURMs in Oakland but not the name Gould. What time frame are you looking at? I am still putting together all my names. The ancestors came from Germany/France and I have received help from a distant cousin back there. Don't have a Joseph that I can see, but my charts are not complete yet. Let me know the years you are looking at and I'll see if anything fits. 1. [STURM-L] FamilyHart March Update
    2. We are working away at getting more data in our database for the March update. We are as always way behind. As of this morning we have over 215, 000 names in our database to go to the update, which makes about 10,000 new names. We hope to get another 1000 or 2000 in before we do the upload. Some names won't make it for this update however but will go in the June update. We apologize if your names do not make it. We will be adding much in the way of Brethren and Mennonite names, mostly from Washington County, MD; Franklin County, PA; Ogle County, IL; and Carroll County, IL. We will also be adding quite a bit on the German Thomas family of Washington County and Frederick County, MD; the Rhyne family of North Carolina: the Shirk family of Franklin County, PA; the Sturm family of Kentucky and West Virginia; and the Kohr family of Pennsylvania. Many more Glattfelder family names have been added as well from all over with all spellings (i.e. Glotfelty, Clodfelter, etc.). All names in our database are related by blood or marriage to us. Right now we are looking at a couple of windows for the update... Feb 26-27 or Mar 4-5 or Mar 18-19 We will let you know. Thanks! Don & Jeanine http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/familyhart/

    3. Hello list members, To those of you who attempted to access my website without success, I apologize. This is my first attempt at publishing a website and I made the mistake of including spaces within my file names. I.E. Explorer browsers will accept this protocol but Netscape will not, hence the problem. I have worked to correct this situation and it should now be accessible to all. There may still be a few anomalies but nothing serious, and they will be corrected. Thanks for your patience. 1. [STURM-L] Anderson STURM IL (STURMS)
    2. Joann M Pomeroy
    3. Hello Sturm list users, I am going to try my seeking from another direction. I am trying to find Anderson Sturm/Sturms grandparents. His Mother is Elizabeth DECKER. She married Mathias Sturm in IL. Anderson was born about 1860. He died before 1925. Elizabeth was married to James L. Stratton first and they had one son, James Logan Stratton. So James Logan Stratton is Anderson's half brother. So the people I am trying to identify are Elizabeth DECKER's parents. Thought maybe the Sturm/Sturms descendants might know---struck out with the decker's so far. If you can help me I would appreciate it.
