    3. Duane, No offense. I just thought it is interesting that we both have ancestors in common from all those areas. The ones from Ostheim, Alsace were alternately German and French :-) You know how confusing it can be with families with all the same given names. It is great that you have done so much research. Johann and Jacob are very common names and I have found a number of them who either migrated or were born here and from various countries. 2. The FamilyHart Online Pennsylvania Dutch Database has a lot to celebrate this month. FamilyHart celebrates 16 years serving the online community this month, starting with the launch of AOL in October of 1991. We also celebrate now having had over 1,000,000 visitors to the online database since moving the database from AOL to our own subdomain name at Rootsweb in 1998. This month we have also added over 10,000 new names for today's quarterly update to the online database bringing our online total to now over 534,000 names. To think that in 1993, we had only 23,000 names, and in 1991 just 6,000 names. We have come a long ways since then, and hope to be able to go a long ways into the future. We thank you for your support. To see what is currently in the database, please see: http://www.linkhitlist.com/cgi/LHL_E.exe?G2L&LinkNo=1456853&ListNo=30907 Thanks!
