Pace >siriuspace@aol.com > >______________________________ I have checked in both Julia Guice and Nell Gamble's books and have found no evidence that Hans Frederick STUMP had a daughter named Sarah. Guice lists Sarah STUMP, wife of Alcey PACE, as someone who _might_ have been a child of Hans Frederick, but says that there is no record of such a relationship. Hans Frederick STUMP had only two wives. The second was Catherine Gingry, a barmaid at his tavern, who was about 25 years old when they married (he was about 93 and lived four more years. As the GGGG granddaughter of Hans Frederick STUMP through his son John, I collect everything that I can about this man. I hope that you can find evidence of Sarah's relationship to him. Paul Tobler, who is doing Snavely research, listed Sarah as one of his children, but I do not know the basis for this. Let me know if you find out anything new.
