Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of this list. My name is Emma (Stump) Campbell. My father, Thurman Stump, published a book about our WV Stump lineage in 1975 ("Michael Stump Sr. of Virginia, 1709 - 1768"). I keep running into information from his book on the internet on various genealogy sites, and was amazed to hear it had just been sold through the eBay Auction. My father would be surprised to see how big genealogy has become, and would be right in the think of it if he were still alive (he died in 1981). I'm researching other family lines, but am always interested in new, historical information on the Stumps. I'm interested in anecdotal histories, reasons for migrations (enjoyed today's posting re. Austin Cooper's book by Jan T.). I also appreciate hearing of any corrections to research in my father's book, so I can keep it updated. I've only just subscribed today, so have probably missed out on a lot, but hope to catch up. Emma Campbell
