    3. Thanks for the info, but although I lack details of my Benjamin's birth and ancestry, I do know his wife was Susannah Petry, and his death date on 4-6-1877 in Preble Co. Ohio. The deed book for Codorus Twp. in York Co. Pa notes that Benjamin and Susannah purchased 124 acres of the George Petry farm from his estate, with Susannah's various bros and sisters signing the papers. On Ap 1 1835 they then sold 134 acres in Codorus and emigrated to Monroe Twp. in Preble Co. Ohio. The annual meeting of the German Baptist Brethren was helk on his farm in 1861. He died there (4 months before his wife) at the age of 77. Page 417 and 417a of the book "THREE SONS OF STEFFAN PETRY, 1729-1977" by RUMMEL&RUMMEL notes the above, with a few more details, and shows pics of Benjamin and Susannah in their elder years, as well as the family grave yard on the farm. THE MILLER BOOK (1926) notes some of the intermarriage of the Millers/Petrys and Stumps. However, the birth details and the parentage of Benjamin remain a mystery. I have some upstream data on the Millers, and Petrys but the link to upstream Stumps has eluded me. I do have lists of all of Solomon's 22 children. I have some downstream names from Benjamin's eldest son Samual Corbin Stump' daughter Susan L Stump, who married Isaac Winters Funck, and scattered other lines from Ben and son Solomon. It seems clear they are German or Swiss (one of the original leaders of the Mennonite movement in Switzerland, was a Stumpf). I have hit a stone wall with Benjamin. Thanks for your help. I live in the Napa Valley north of San Francisco if any of you are nearby. Thanks, Edward Stump
