Well, I finally received my gr gr grandfather's death certificate from New Castle and it had his parents' names on it. What an exciting day! There were 2 George W. Stump family's in Allegheny County in the 1870 census and, fortunately, I had the death date from the family Bible. I must confess that decided that the wrong one was my ancestor. My George W.
