I just joined the list and reveiwed the archives. I filled in some details of my Stump lineage from messages by Christine McNish, R M Terry, Allice Reynolds and Macalyne Fristoe. My ggg grandfather is ALSEY PACE who m. SALLY ALICE STUMP on 8/17/1808. Alsey was killed in the War of 1812 at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815 under the command of his father-in-law Col. HANS FREDERICK STUMP. My records show that HANS FREDERICK STUMP had 7 children and his father, CHRISTOPHER STUMP, b 1695, had 15 children by his two wives.
