In my last message I reported some information re Christopher Stump which was obtained from an LDS Church report from 1995. According to Doris Weaver's record some of this information is incorrect. She has solid evidence that Christopher's first wife was Susannah Schuetz (of Shuts) and Christopher's first 8 children were from this marriage, including the famous Hans Frederick Stump. This information comes from the will of Christopher's father, Johann Georg Stump. Also, the immigration record I found for a Christopher Stump to Schaefferstown, PA in 1741 apparently refers to a different Christopher as Doris has good information that Christopher arrived in the colonies with his parents in 1709/10.
