I think I have succeeded in confusing myself, not to mention everyone else, thoroughly! I meant to respond to someone who was looking for a William and Elizabeth Stump. That I have. My problem is finding my Jacob. And proving it. I am pretty sure that he and his wife Barbara are the ones buried in the old Stump(f) Churchyard in Pickaway Co., Ohio. And I think his father's name was Jacob also, but can't prove it. My Stumps started in Old Heidleberg Twp., Berks Co., Penn. They moved as a group to Hocking Co., Fairfield Co., and Pickaway Co. My grandfather, Isaac Stump, was one of nine boys and I know I have all sorts of cousins out there, but contact was lost completely sometime in the Forties and it has taken me all this time to find out where they started.
