Stroup that was in charge of the County Poor House and Hospital on Catholic Ave Road in Ft. Smith in 1890. Wonder if he is same Dr. Stroupe that was appointed guardian of George W. St. Clair who grew up to be a doctor also and practiced in Oklahoma.
