I am also researching the Michael Stroup line. I have some info but always looking for more. I have already sent a reply to Robert from an earlier posting, to see what info he has. I realize that your original msg is a couple of years old and hope you get this reply. Both you and Robert indicate that Michael and Anthony settled in Lynchburg. My info has them in New Market in Highland Co. and later in Dodsonville. There is a Stroup Cemetary in Dodsonville where many of our descendants are. Hope to hear from you soon.
