I have yet to connect him with my Staub/Stroup family and when I saw all your posts with different names for PA vets I thought I'ld give you a try for any information if any you may have. My Straub/Stroup lived in PA, unknown where, before moving to Ohio then to Michigan. Most of the family joined the war in Ohio units, 1st Heavy Art'y Ohio, 57th Ohio inf. and the 21st Ohio inf. I have abstracts of their pension files posted on several boards. Nancy
