I joined this list today and would hope that someone can help with the Thomas Strope family of Greene Co., PA. I believe their origins are in England, then probably NJ. Thomas' children: Thomas b. bef. 1795 m. Sarah Elems; Sarah 1798; John, 1797 m. Harriet ?, children Elizabeth, Howard, Jackson, Samuel & Allison; Amelia b. 1801 (my direct line) m.
