I am a descendent of David & Margaret Inglefinger Stroupe. They were from Lincoln County, NC and moved to Buncombe County, NC. Their daughter or granddaughter, Malinda Stroupe married William W. Redman and raised their family in Buncombe. My problem is proving Malinda's parents. She and William appear in the estate papers for Solomon Stroupe, who is reported to be the son of David.
