After four years residence in Juniata county during which their daughter (listed as Margaret in John's obit) was born, they decided to cast their fortune in then what was call the far West. oops, almost missed this: Margaret inter-married Samuel Neff and has children, unknown at this time. From Mary's will. Margaretta was b: 18 Jun 1842, d: 1929. Records show that she lived at Topeka, Kansas and was listed as Margaretta and Margaret Stroup in Mary's will in 1903 . Hope this is a connection for you, I have most of the John Stroup family.
