Hello, I am new to the list and I am searching for information on Andrew (James) STROUP, b: circa 1830 in MO. He married Martha Jane JACKSON, November 16, 1852, Jefferson County, MO. Martha Jane b: circa 1828, TN d/o Benjamin and Unknown JACKSON. Andrew (James) and Martha Jane had 6 children: 1) George Washington (Sr.) b: Dec. 10, 1853 2) James Benjamine b: Nov. 04, 1855 3) Jacob Franklin b: Sept. 13, 1857 4) William Leroy b: July 10, 1860 5) Adline Catherine b: Dec. 18, 1861 6) Elizabeth Ellen b: April 16, 1868 The above information on Andrew and children came from a recently found "new cousin" and I would like to find more descendants of James and Martha Jane (JACKSON) STROUP, as I am descended from Martha Jane's brother, George Washington JACKSON.
