In my continuing effort to try and find the IL connection for my Hiram Strong (basics: born about 1809 in TN; married Rebecca Unknown, also born about 1809 in TN; first two children -- John and Eli -- born in IL in 1832 and 1833, respectively; moved to MO about 1836; seven more children -- Mary, Andrew, Nancy, James, Moses, Margaret, and Sarah -- born in MO from 1836 to 1849; and appears in the 1850 census for Newton Co., MO), I've found the following Strongs who received bounty lands in IL for their service in the War of 1812. I would appreciate any information about these Strongs, so that I might rule them in or out in terms of a connection to my Hiram. They are: Allen B.
