Strong ><[email protected]> > Hi Jim - Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately the courthouse burned, and we lost valuable information, leaving me with no idea about his parents, place of birth, etc. The censuses state he was b. in MA; however, family tradition states he came from Skibbereen, Ireland - and may have even been Scotch-Irish ------but it is very hard to establish this, not knowing his parent's names or siblings, or anything to connect him. Earlier on, I wrote to each and every county seat in MA, searching, because I have his birthdate from his headstone, but came up empty. So on it goes. That's why I asked about the child Lorenzo, (I don't even know Lorin/Loren's full name) thinking this may have been his child. Thanks anyway. I appreciate you taking the time to try to help.
