    1. Re: Nathan & Eunice
    2. Dear Jim and all, Nathan and Eunice m. 1790 Henry b. Apr./ 1791 Nathan goes departs Feb. 1792 Thomas writes letter to the Scrantons Apr. 1792 and informs them of how the family is and informs them of the marriage of Nathan and birth of Henry, calling them brother and sister. Phebe b. Jul. 1792 Charles born Apr. 1793. Dwight writes Nathan and family remove 1794- 1795 >From these dates Nathan may have come and gone and gotten the place ready for his family before bringing them. That was not an uncommon occurence. It may have taken him awhile to find what he was looking for. David Scranton, m. ______Strong bef. 1790 and goes to Manchester Nova Scotia before the marriage of Nathan and Eunice. Thomas doesn't mention marriage of Eunice Strong to Simeon Coe, he just calls Simeon brother Coe which makes it sound like the Scantons know who he is, Eunice and Simeon were m. 1774. So the Scrantons left after 1774 and bef. 1790. Jim have you checked to see if David Scranton could have been a Loyalist in the Revolution. Revolution 1775 - 1783 treaty was signed. As I remember it Loyalist left into the 1790's. I think the United Empire Loyalist have a websight and you might find something there or Bill might be able to help. Martha
