Dear Dave, Don't worry. I consider your response helpful and not a lecture. The only hints I have about James Strong in Ireland is a note from my great Aunt Kate Strong stating they were from Donegal. So far, I have had no luck tracing them there, however, so her note may not be accurate. She was in her 90s when she made the note. I also agree that the Strongs are probably all related if we can get back far enough. As for religion, I believe they were Anglican, but my g grandfather, James Decatur Strong, was a Campbellite Christian Church minister (now Disciples of Christ).
