"Sandy-........... We did put the URL for the Association for Gravestone Studies in yesterday's ML(missing Links). Seems to me that is the single most useful rallying point, the AGS, that is. Its mission is "to foster appreciation of the cultural significance of gravestones and burial grounds through their study and preservation." For individuals, seems to me the most useful thing is to learn what the local and state laws are where one lives, and to determine whether existing cemeteries in one's locality have been surveyed recently -- and if not to figure out a way to make that happen before the next shopping mall or parking garage or airport runway or interstate is constructed in the area.............Julie" So I guess we ALL need to give the AGS the Indiana story ASAP.. Missing lLinks also received 17 other messages regarding Indiana. They will do their part. We must do ours. Sandy Hunt in Lubbock Texas(The Governor doesn't know what hes in for!--lay it on.) .
